Not Scary? But it's Halloween!

Of course it is! But this program is for elementary students. During my middle school programs, it's not uncommon to have someone run from the room afraid. So I know how to scare students. However, this program is just the right mix of kid-friendly, Halloween fun!

The Not So Spooky Spooktacular show: is an amazingly funny, family-friendly 45 minute celebration of the Halloween Season. Come along as a lonely witch tries to find the perfect cat.  See what I found while on a trick-or-treat adventure. Visit with the world's only Vampire Duck and watch as a student helper is rendered INVISIBLE... almost! Your teachers and students alike will scream with delight during this fun romp through some popular Halloween characters and events.

Is this just for fun or does it have a curriculum connection?

Yes... and well, YES! The Not So Spooky Spooktacular is primarily a fun Halloween program. It also encourages reading and the use of library/media center resources through some beloved and some yet-to-be-explored books. All the books highlighted are grade-appropriate for elementary students and your staff will appreciate the reading connection to the fun!

 

As you know, Halloween is October 31st and the entire month of October typically fills extremely fast. Please call early if you want to book your date during that timespan!
